I was originally trained as a covert photographer during my time in HM Forces way back in the 80's. When I left, family and time meant I left photography but the passion never died. I decided to take it up again in 2008 and I haven't looked back.

I found an interest in people and during the first two years I had a lot of success at local level competitions. I looked to create realism with actors and I was always looking for the emotion that photography could do.

Following my deployement to the South Atlantic with a new job I fell in love with wildlife. I was lucky enought to win the FIAPS International Silver medal in 2014 from the Royal Photography Society for one of my wildlife images. This year I have had another British Wildlife image declared a winner for the Worcestershire Wildlife Trusts photographic competition.

My aim now is to develop an individual portrait style which will be recognised and hopefully enjoyed by clients of all ages.
